The weather in Munich during end of July should be sunny and pleasant, but rainy weather or thunderstorms are possible. An umbrella should therefore be part of your luggage.
Usually there is, however, a good chance that the evenings are warm and the "Biergärten" are open. (A "Biergarten" is a kind of an open air restaurant, where you can bring your own food). Most of the "Biergärten" in munich are nicely situated under chestnut trees.
